Who is Plicell?
Plicell Inc. is a joint venture between Berteks Textile Industry and Trade Inc. and Jalpersan Curtain Systems Textile and Furniture Accessories Construction, Industry, and Trade Ltd. Co. —two of Turkey’s most established textile companies. Born from the merger of these companies, which collectively possess over a century of industry experience, Plicell is a curtain solution brand that offers “comfort, aesthetics, and quality” in living spaces. Plicell curtains, which can be used in a wide range of applications—from homes and offices to glass balconies, winter gardens, and car and boat cabins—provide heat, light, and sound control all at once
History and Innovation
In its early years, Plicell produced 20 mm decorative pleated blinds; in response to customer demand, it developed the world’s first 14 mm pleated blinds and mechanisms, offering a perfect solution for glass balconies. Later, the company introduced a 7 mm slim profile to address the needs of insulated glass and sliding window systems, and today offers over 160 patterns and more than 40 curtain systems. Plicell carries out all stages of production in its own integrated facilities, manufacturing mechanisms and fabrics in-house to ensure quality control at every step.
